FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is parking available?

Yes, street parking is available on the street in front of the building and there is a parking lot in the back with a handicap stall.

Which floor is the clinic on?

We are located on the second floor next to the Zyp Art Gallery. An elevator is available from the street entrance.

Do you direct bill insurance companies?

Yes! We direct bill most major insurance companies.

When should my child have their first eye exam?

We start eye exams as young as 6 months old and Alberta Health Care covers children's exams until they turn 19

What happens if I am late for my appointment?

If you are running behind please give us a call. If you are more than 15 minutes late we may have to reschedule you. We tend to run on time (your time is valuable to us!)

What should I expect for my first appointment?

If it's your first time visiting our clinic we will send you a new patient form the day prior through text message (we also have the form available in clinic). We ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your exam time to direct bill your insurance and complete our privacy policy.

Can I bring a stroller/wheel chair/walker

Although our clinic is small, we are able to comfortably fit a stroller, wheel chair, or walker in the exam room. Please note that patients must be wheelchair transferrable to sit in the exam chair.
